Dave comes to B Direct with over 20 years of graphic design and layout experience. And clients aren’t the only ones who recognize Dave’s artistic talents. In 2001, Dave won a prestigious Gold Echo award for 3D Direct Mail. Earlier, Dave worked as Art Director for agency Direct Results Group/SourceLink and publisher Reed Elsevier's global business division.
Dave went to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he began his career as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator. In 1987, Dave published his first book Gordy — Hot, Hip, Happenin', and Now!, a collection of comic strips from his popular feature in The Daily Collegian. Since then, Dave has illustrated over two dozen publications ranging in a variety of subjects from business to education. His recent clients include The Wall Street Journal. Currently, Dave is hard at work on his first graphic novel, Being Gordy, for release in 2010. A preview can be viewed at www.beinggordy.com.
